This time, we will share a nice worksheet with a group of passages about countries and nationalities in Spanish plus some questions about them to encourage students to practice this important vocabulary and their ability to find key information in readings.
Directions:
Students could work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises on this worksheet.
In order to solve the exercises in this worksheet, students must read the four short passages on top of the page. These passages are descriptions of people’s countries, nationalities and languages in Spanish. You will also see some of the vocabulary for hobbies and names of typical food in those countries. Once students have read the passages, they must reply to three questions for each passage. Please make sure students write full sentences in the blanks, e.g. “Él es de Inglaterra. Él habla inglés.“.

Extra Activity:
Students work in groups of four to do some research about a specific country from a list provided by the teacher. They will pretend to be from those countries and will write a short passage similar to the ones in the worksheet. Make sure they mention the language, traditional foods or drinks or any important information they would like to share. Ask them to bring pictures if possible for an oral presentation.
