Directions:
Students could work by themselves or in pairs to solve the exercises on this worksheet.
Each student gets a copy of the PDF worksheet. To solve the first exercise, students must take a look at the drawings, and then match each drawing with the actions in Spanish written on the left. All these actions follow the structure for the present progressive in Spanish, called “perífrasis durativas” in the language and formed with ESTAR + gerunds. As for the second exercise, they should choose the actions in progress that best complete each of the blanks in the dialogue so that it makes sense. There could be more than one correct answer in some cases. The teacher should provide feedback and make sure both activities in the worksheet are done correctly.
