¡Hola! Welcome to our site. This time, we are sharing an excellent worksheet with key expressions for making a restaurant reservation in Spanish, through an engaging conversation activity. We hope you will be able to identify and use these phrases more easily after working with this material. Good luck!
Instructions:
Students can work in pairs on this worksheet. They can also complete it online on this page.
Students or their teacher should cut the worksheet in half, assigning each half to different students. First, the students should put the expressions or sentences in the correct and logical order. In this scenario, the receptionist is talking to a customer who is making a table’s reservation at a restaurant in Spanish. Once they have the correct order, the “receptionist” (el recepcionista) goes first and says the first sentence, then the “customer” (el cliente) says the second, so that they make up the entire conversation. After they have the correct order, the students practice a few times and present to the rest of the class.
