¡Hola! Thanks for joining us once again. We have created this worksheet to help you practice the vocabulary for places in the city in Spanish, how to describe places and more importantly, the different ways to ask for directions in Spanish and explain how to get to specific places. We hope you find these exercises very useful to reinforce what you already know about this topic.
Students work in pairs or in groups of four to solve the exercise on this worksheet.
This worksheet includes three different exercises. For the first exercise, students should complete the sentences related to the location of the places using prepositions of places in Spanish such as “detrás de”, “junto a”, “cerca de..”, etc. In the second exercise, they should describe the city in the worksheet using adjectives to talk about the places around. In the third exercise, students should work in groups or pairs to form complete, grammatically correct sentences with the directions in Spanish of the places on the map.

Look at the map of the town closely, recognize the places, and then complete the sentences in the interactive quiz.
Students imagine being somewhere in the city, on either of the two previous maps, and then ask one another how to get to different places. Also, they can draw a map of a city they have visited and put the names of the most significant places they remember. Then, they interact by asking for the description of the city and the addresses of the places on the map.
