Hello! Thanks for using our resources. This time, we are sharing another great PDF worksheet to learn to use possessive adjectives in Spanish through sentences. We hope you can get the best out of this material.
Directions:
Students can work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises on this worksheet. They can also solve it online on this page.
Students will find a short explanation on how possessive adjectives work in Spanish at the top of this worksheet. “Los adjetivos posesivos” are words like “mi, tu, su, nuestro…“ that are always placed before the name of an object, place or people to express a relationship with someone. To solve this simple exercise, students need to find the correct possessives in Spanish to fill in the blanks and complete these twelve sentences. Here are two examples:
- Ellos son mis hermanos. (They are my brothers – Here, “mi” will change to “mis” to agree with the noun “hermanos”)
- ¡Esa es nuestra casa! (That’s our house! – Notice that “nuestro” will change to “nuestra” because “Casa” is a feminine singular noun)
