Hello and thank you for joining us in a new listening practice lesson. This time, we will learn the basic vocabulary for medicines and other items that you can buy at the pharmacy in Spanish. Even more important, we will see this vocabulary in sentences and basic questions that will serve as the basis for two very interesting listening activities. Let’s get started ā¦
Vocabulary: Medicine and pharmacy items in Spanish
First, pay attention to the following image that includes some of the essential vocabulary used when talking about medicine and pharmacy items in Spanish.

Next, we will see these words in sentences and questions that are used to get drugs or supplies at the pharmacy in Spanish. Some of these sentences will talk about the location of places, others include ways to ask for prices when buying things, names of common diseases and much more.
Listen carefully and analyze the examples, as they will be the basis for the two listening activities that we will see later.
