We hope this worksheet helps you memorize this vocabulary and use it properly to talk about symptoms and specific illnesses in the language.
Directions:
Students work individually or in pairs to solve the crossword puzzle and answer the questions on this worksheet.
Students get a copy of the worksheet. First, they should read the phrases on top that tell you how to use the vocabulary in the worksheet in real contexts. Then, they should write down the name of each of those illnesses in Spanish in the corresponding box. To make it more interesting, students can make a sentence with each symptom or disease similar to the example on top.

Extra activity:
Students work in pairs for a role play activity. One of them will be a doctor and the other will be a patient (un paciente). The patient must say at least five symptoms in order to help the doctor identify his illness and possible treatment. In this sense, it’s important to know how to give suggestions in Spanish using “DEBERÍA”.
