¡Hola! Thanks for using our resources. We have designed a great worksheet to practice the vocabulary for months of the year, plus some essential weather expressions in Spanish. As with previous dialogues, this PDF worksheet consists of three interesting dialogues (pre-intermediate level) plus a gap filling exercise that will surely help you reinforce your knowledge on this topic.
Directions:
Students could work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises in this worksheet.
Print the worksheet and hand each student a copy. This worksheet contains three short dialogues or conversation excerpts using the vocabulary for months of the year to provide some context, as well as brief weather descriptions in Spanish for different seasons and a bit about future plans. Students must fill in the gaps with the four options available on top of each dialogue. Keep in mind that the words and phrases in these dialogues are a bit more challenging, which gives students a chance to learn new vocabulary and see their previous knowledge in use too.

In-class activity:
Students work in pairs to make an original dialogue in Spanish about their favorite season (estación del año). They must add information about the month when that season begins, what the weather is like in that season and an activity they would love to do at that time of year, just like we did in the examples provided in the worksheet. They could add some sports or other free time activities to have more information, and then they should rehearse and present to the rest of the class. Their teacher should provide some feedback on pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar use.
