¡Hola! Thanks for learning Spanish with us. This time, we are sharing a nice PDF Worksheet with two short passages about important jobs in Spanish plus some reading comprehension questions to encourage students to practice this important vocabulary and their ability to find key information in readings.
Students could work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises on this worksheet.
In order to reply to the questions in this worksheet, students must read the two short passages on top of the page talking about jobs in Spanish, what people do, their value and common functions. Once students have read the passages, they must reply to the questions below. Please make sure students write full sentences in the blanks, e.g. “Los maestros trabajan en las escuelas“.
- Jobs and Professions in Spanish: list, sentences and practice
- Talking about Jobs and Occupations in Spanish
- Looking for a job in Spanish – Listening Practice
Students work in pairs to make a list of the most important things that people do in other professions and occupations. They should focus on reasons why those jobs are important for our society, prepare a poster paper and present for the rest of the class. The activity could work better if students just say what these people do without saying the job title in Spanish so that their classmates can guess at the end of their presentation. The teacher should give them some feedback once their presentation is over.
