Definite and Indefinite Articles in Spanish – PDF Worksheet

Hello! Thanks for visiting our site. We have designed this PDF worksheet featuring two engaging exercises to practice definite and indefinite articles in Spanish. Let’s get started!

Instructions:

Students can work individually or in pairs to solve these exercises. They can also solve them online on this page through interactive quizzes.

To solve both exercises, students must know how to use definite articles (el, la, los, las) and indefinite articles (un, una, unos, unas) appropriately.

  • Exercise No. 1: Students must read the incomplete sentences in the box and complete the ten sentences on the left with Spanish definite articles and the ten on the right with Spanish indefinite articles, making sure that these words agree in gender and number with the nouns they accompany.
  • Exercise No. 2: Students must read thirteen different sentences and circle or highlight the correct definite or indefinite article in Spanish to complete them, following the rules to make these words agree with the nouns that they modify.
