Extra in-class activity:
Students play a role game pretending to be customers and sellers at local market. The merchants must make a list of the things that they have available, their prices and possible offers for their customers. Each merchant can only have a maximum of 10 products. There should be at least 5 merchants in the class. Then, five students pretend to be customers and ask for prices of different fruits and vegetables in Spanish, ask for discounts and decide where to buy. The teacher could bring fake money to make the activity more entertaining. In the end, the teacher and students all agree on who is the best merchant (comerciante) in the class.
