Vocabulary in context: Fun indoor and outdoor activities in Spanish
In previous lessons, we have covered the vocabulary for some common hobbies in Spanish as well as sports people usually play around the world. This time, we will make use of this vocabulary with new words and phrases in two listening activities. First, listen to and analyze a set of examples with fun indoor activities in Spanish (actividades dentro de casa) that people usually do.
¿Qué quieres jugar? – Quiero jugar ajedrez o monopolio.
Excuse me, I don’t know campus well. Can you tell me where this place is?

¿Podemos jugar algo? – Si, claro. Juguemos este juego de mesa que encontré.
Can we play something? – Yes, of course. Let’s play this board game I found

¿Sabes las reglas del juego? – No, no las recuerdo. Me las tienes que explicar.
Do you know the rules of this game? – No, I don’t remember them. You have to explain them to me.

I have lost three times, but I will not let you win again.

I know several types of card games.

Next, we are going to talk about outdoor activities in Spanish such as sports and other fun things to do with family and friends. At this point, we assume you can recognize the vocabulary for most sports in the language so we will just focus on sports in general and make examples of sentences similar to the ones you will hear later.
Me gusta practicar deportes como el fútbol, béisbol, baloncesto y el voleibol.
