As we briefly explained in the document, the present tense in Spanish (el presente de indicativo) is essential for talking about habitual actions or things that happen at the moment of speaking, but we must follow rules to conjugate regular “-ar, -er, -ir” verbs in this tense and memorize the conjugations of several irregular verbs.
- Exercise No. 1: Students should complete a chart containing a list of common regular and irregular verbs with the correct conjugations for these verbs in the Spanish present tense. They can use a conjugation tool to check the correct form of the verbs for each personal pronoun.
- Exercise No. 2: Students must unscramble, order, and rewrite ten sentences correctly, making sure to use the correct conjugations of the main verb(s) in the present tense in Spanish.
