Hello! Welcome to our site. This time, we are sharing an excellent material for practicing proper and common nouns in Spanish with two simple exercises in a PDF worksheet. Let’s get started!
Instructions:
Students can work individually or in pairs to solve these exercises. They can also solve them online on this page.
To solve the first exercise in this material, students should read the name of each noun (sustantivo) above the images and then classify them as proper (propio) or common nouns (común), depending on their function. For example, the word “gato”(cat) is a “sustantivo común”, while the word “Firulais” is a “sustantivo propio”. Then, to solve the second exercise, students should read the sentences and the word list at the top of the exercise and fill in the blanks with the correct common or proper nouns, depending on the context.
