Reflexive Pronouns in Spanish – PDF Worksheet

Hello! Thanks for joining us. We designed this great PDF worksheet to help you practice Spanish reflexive pronouns with two simple exercises, including a conjugation chart and several sentences. Let’s get started!

Instructions:

Students can work individually or in pairs on these exercises. They can also solve them using the interactive quizzes on this page.

Spanish reflexive pronouns—such as me, te, nos, and others—are used with various common verbs to indicate that an action reflects back onto the subject of the sentence (i.e., myself, ourselves, etc.). Each personal pronoun corresponds to a specific reflexive pronoun. Don’t forget to review the main lesson to learn more about this topic.

  • Exercise No. 1: Students must complete a small chart containing the conjugations of three common Spanish reflexive verbs: levantarse (get up), mirarse (to look at oneself), and dormirse (to fall asleep). Their task is to fill in the chart with the correct missing reflexive pronouns (pronombres reflexivos) for each conjugation, based on the subject indicated in the first column.
  • Exercise No. 2: Students must read ten short sentences containing various reflexive verbs and complete them by writing the reflexive pronoun and the present indicative conjugation of each reflexive verb in Spanish (shown in parentheses) in the blank spaces.
