Hello! Thanks for joining us. This time, we are sharing an excellent PDF woksheet for practicing Spanish reflexive verb conjugations, featuring two interesting exercises. Let’s get started…
Instructions:
Students can work individually or in pairs on these exercises. They can also solve them using the interactive quizzes on this page.
Spanish reflexive verbs in their base form consist of an infinitive verb—such as “mirar”, “mover”, or “sentir”—plus the suffix -se (e.g., “mirarse” or “moverse”). They represent actions that reflect directly back onto the subject of the sentence and they are conjugated using reflexive pronouns that correspond to that subject. To solve both exercises in this material, students need prior knowledge of how to conjugate these verbs.
- Exercise No. 1: Students must complete the chart with eleven common reflexive verbs in Spanish by writing the correct conjugations for each verb for the personal pronouns listed at the top of the chart. They must make sure to use the reflexive pronoun that matches each personal pronoun, as well as the correct verb conjugations in the present indicative tense.
- Exercise No. 2: Students must read a short text about a family’s daily routine in Spanish and complete it by writing the present indicative forms of the reflexive verbs in parentheses in the blanks.
