Instructions:
Students can work on these exercises individually or in pairs. They can also solve them online on this page.
Keep in mind that the verb “gustar” is conjugated as “gusta” when referring to an object and “gustan” when referring to many things in the present tense. You also need to add a Spanish indirect object pronoun depending on the subject of the sentence, plus a prepositional phrase (a mí, a ti, a nosotros…) with the preposition “A”. These prepositional phrases are optional.
To solve the first exercise, students should look at several illustrations and read the sentences below them. The goal is to fill in the blanks with both the indirect object pronoun and the form of the verb “gustar” that make sense based on the context and the pictures. For the second exercise, they should fill in the blanks with the appropriate verb conjugations to complete a short dialogue about things we like or dislike in Spanish.
