Hello! Thank you for using our resources. This cool PDF worksheet includes three short descriptions of countries in Spanish with information about their geography, culture and food. We hope you find it very useful to enhance your reading skill and learn new vocabulary.
Directions:
Students can work individually or in pairs to solve the exercises on the worksheet.
Each student gets a copy of the PDF worksheets with the three short descriptions of Chile, Spain (España) and Japón (Japan). Students must read the passages carefully, underline or highlight important information, and then answer the questions in the first exercise on each country’s culture and geography. As for the second exercise, they should read again and write V (Verdadero) or F (Falso) in the boxes next to each statement, depending on whether they are true or false.

Extra activity:
Students work in groups of 3-4. Just like in the passages, each group does some research about the food, geography and culture of that country in Spanish. They should find their names in the language, which could be different, and find out what the most famous places and facts about that country are. Then, they prepare a poster paper or slides to share with their classmates. They should write a short footnote under each picture so that their classmates understand better what they are talking about. The presentation should last two minutes and give other students the chance to make a few questions or comment on it.
